March 30, 2009

I can't believe two months has gone by since I last posted on my blog - oh my word - how the time flies.

Well - lots to tell - NO puppies for Dottie and Fergus - so sad. No puppies for Aussie and Suzannah either although Suzannah has a new forever Guardian Home and is ever so happy.

Fergus has a new home also - be is living with Morey and his Guardian Family in Genelle. Morey and Fergus both came over from Australia together and are very happy to live together with their new family.

Nicole has finally found the perfect family - she is off to live her new life with Angie and her husband on Wednesday. They are all pretty excited about this new life they are beginning. We are thinking some really happy thoughts for them all and look forward to watching them all blossom.

Dora's puppies are over 10 weeks now - 2 have gone to Kathy, our trainer, for their 4 week training session - Indiana Floppy Ears Reno Morden (aka Indie) and Zelda - both their families are anxious for the time to be through and them to be winging their way home!! Dexter goes this weekend with my husband Tom to the Vancouver area to meet his new family. Tahoe, Mesquite and Carson are all awaiting the results of the Pawsitive ID testing so they can go on to become great new breeders for the Labradoodle community. That leaves little Vegas - she hasn't yet secured her forever family but we know it won't be long.

Sugar is in season - she is going to honeymoon with Morey at the end of this week. Pollyanna is due also and she plans on enticing Morey to stay a few days and honeymoon with her also. These two litters should be large mini to small mediums and there should be mostly creams and browns.

We have a new up and coming daughter of Sugar - Maggie (aka Gracie) who is due in season. We are at sixes and sevens over her mate - it's looking more and more like it will be MacDuff which will give us mini's again. We are really hoping for some phantoms in this litter. Maggie has phantom behind her and MacDuff is a phantom so - browns and brown phantoms is what we expect. Maybe a cream or two also.

Ginny is due in season at the end of April - our lovely small red standard darling is ready to find a mate for the first time. We really like Fergus and think they would really make some lovely reds but he is quite a little fellow that they will only be mediums in size and we really want some bigger babies this time. Have to do some thinking, come up with just the perfect man for our Ginny.

Renovations are well underway - the dogs finally made it into their new family room. Man - moving sure isn't all that much fun - both Tom and I are glad that is over but we have alot of work to do finding places for everything and putting everything in it's place!!!

That's a whole lota news for one sitting - better save something new for next time. I am going to try really hard to come back and blog more often.
